“On the other side of fear is life” spoken by a contestant, after finishing some height challenges on the Amazing race season 36. He was deathly afraid of heights.
God’s Will
But God does only One thing always and without end: GIVE. Everything we want has already been given, it is right here at this very moment. God needs nothing and has no ego to satisfy.

War is over: if you want it.
What if Everyone, all 8 billion of us, walked out of the theater?
What if nothing needs fixing?
What if all the drama in our lives personally and collectively are the result of us trying to fix something.
A Better Way
Our identity never changed. How could anything God made in His own image ever be corrupted? Impossible!
Jesus and a Course in Miracles
I was walking the dog one morning and I saw a man whose shirt read; “God is always talking.”
WB Lesson 166 commentary part 3
1. God does not forgive because He has never condemned. ²And there must be condemnation before forgiveness is necessary. ³Forgiveness is the great need of this world, but that is because it is a world of illusions. ⁴Those who forgive are thus releasing themselves from illusions, while those who withhold forgiveness are binding themselves to them. ⁵As you condemn only yourself, so do you forgive only yourself.
2. Yet although God does not forgive, His Love is nevertheless the basis of forgiveness. [W.46:1-2]
ACIM WB 166 Commentary
There is Only One thing God does: GIVE. God has only One desire for his children: HAPPINESS and as been pointed out everything we need for our happiness has already been given.
ACIM WB 166 Commentary
Few ask the very simple question: “There must be a better way, there has got to be, please let there be a way out of here?”
Four Books
These four books are a deep dive into the history, culture and Greek texts about what the original documents said for the people they were written to. This is an eye opening exploration of the topics of a women’s place and homosexuality in the New Testament
Solving problems
A problem cannot be solved on the same level in which it was created. All problems in the consciousness of duality can only be solved if taken to a higher Reality.
Jesus or Barabbas?
This next installment I’ll call the bad, the good, and the better. Or; I’ve got some good news and some bad news what do ya want to hear first? The bad news, OK here it is. Now Barabbas will represent the “bad” news and Jesus will represent the “good news” two ways.
Seventy Times Seven
As radical as Moses’ solution was to the ancient peoples how much more radical are Jesus’ directions to the people listening to him. He has just turned the world upside down or may I suggest right side up. This is how people are supposed to live in relations and societies.
Garden of Eden
The Garden of Eden does not exist in time. It does not even exist in the future for you, and the Garden of Eden does not exist in space. There is no place where you will find it, even those spots on the face of the globe where it is claimed that the Garden of Eden once was.
Resurrection Sunday April 9, 2023
For Resurrection Sunday I’d like to resurrect two sayings from the Master not often heard from pulpits on this celebration: “My kingdom is not of this world,” said Jesus. “If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight, so that I wouldn’t be handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my… Continue reading Resurrection Sunday April 9, 2023
I Don’t believe God is part 4
If I look into a mirror and see a stain on my shirt and then say someone else needs to put on a clean shirt and don’t change my shirt I’m really missing the whole point of the mirror aren’t I? See Matt 7:1-4
I don’t believe God is… Part 3
Change There is a new phrase now called the “spiritual ego.” This is when we enlist the deity to be part of our group. We believe God has put his stamp of approval on our view because we are now following his commands in a “righteous cause” a holly war against some invaders trying to… Continue reading I don’t believe God is… Part 3
I don’t believe God is… Part 2
Hateful to Her enemies: She does not kill those who disagree with Her, She is not opposed by any power. How can an Omnipotent God have nay enemies?
I Don’t Believe God is…
We tend by a secret law of the soul to move toward our mental image of God. This is true not only of the individual Christian, but of the company of Christians that composes the Church. Always the most revealing thing about the Church is her idea of God.
All things for our benefit. Pt.2
The material explores the concept of spiritual purification and the innate goodness of all things. It challenges the perception of suffering as necessary for spiritual growth and emphasizes the omnipresence of a benevolent God. The author, labeled an Absolutist, seeks to understand and apply these concepts in everyday life. This reflects the teachings of the Kingdom of God and shares a desire to transcend the worldly perspective.
Radiating Peace: Embracing Calm in a Chaotic World
“Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.” Helen Keller May the peace of God surround and radiate from within. May calm and peace be present at all times, flowing from our hearts and minds. The Peace of God is all-encompassing, and what is all-encompassing can have… Continue reading Radiating Peace: Embracing Calm in a Chaotic World

BONDAGE OR LIBERTY, WHICH?
When I woke this morning I turned to this lesson and could not help seeing the need for Ms. Cady’s insights once again as a guide in troubled times. I have reprinted the First Lesson in Truth in it’s entirety:
God Is: Embracing the Complexities of Divine Existence
Photo credit taken by my neighbor Laura Over a year ago I wrote a four part series explaining my views of what God is not. In church this morning I heard a song, sung by Carol Mouran written by Danielle Rose called God Is. I was very moved by both the singing of the song… Continue reading God Is: Embracing the Complexities of Divine Existence
